Amtrak
Amtrak offers train transportation from Portland to Eugene. Trains depart three times per day, and operate daily. Travel time via train is approximately 2 hours 45 minutes. Please note that their drop-off and pick up location in Portland is Union Station (rather the airport), so public transit or an Uber/Lyft may be required. Flixbus
Flixbus offers affordable bus transportation between Portland and Eugene. One of their pick-up and drop-off locations is at the University of Oregon’s Hayward Field (a 10-minute walk from Hayward Inn, and a 15-minute walk from the Holiday Inn).
