We will discuss the tools, services and policies used by the SC who helped them achieve this goal and how Case Managers can help the people they support to attend college if they want to.

Melanie Hartwig is one of six Regional Employment Specialist for ODHS’s, Office of Developmental Disability Services. ODDS Regional Employment Specialist work with our communities to advance Employment First in Oregon through partnership with Self Advocates, Case Management Entities, providers, and community partners. Melanie has had the privilege of working with adults and children who experience Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities for 38 years. Throughout the years every person has shared their talents, gifts, and dreams. It has been an honor to work with each person and to assist them to pursue their dreams and live the life they want.
