Connecting, Networking & Decompressing - Tips & Tricks

There will be many ways to connect with others! Here are some ideas you might try as you network and spend time with colleagues from all across the state:

• Participate in the Scavenger Hunt! You can team up or go solo, either way the goal is to get the most out of the conference in a fun and creative way.
• Participate in Human Bingo! Connect with others and find things in common or something unique about your colleagues. Fiil up your BINGO card.
• Invite others to dinner or an activity in Salem after the conference! There are many places and ideas on this website under the “Travel” tab
• Sidewalk Chalk Activity- grab some sidewalk chalk and draw something cool outside. This is a fun way to do something creative and hang out with your peers.
• Carpool with your co-workers. This is a great way to make sure everyone has access to parking and have someone to talk to on your way to the conference and on your way home.

Does all the connecting leave you exhausted and searching for a bit of peace? If you are feeling overwhelmed during the conference and need a quiet space, here are some ideas to try:

• We will have a Calm Space for people to go enjoy a quiet space. It will be in Croisan A conference room at the Salem Convention Center ( 2nd floor).
• Take a short walk downtown Salem. Go to the Riverfront Park which is only a few blocks away.
