Empowerment Through Advocacy

Advocacy means so many things! It can seem daunting, inaccessible, scary, too much work, confusing, positive, joyful, intense and so much more. Advocacy can also be super personal, or can be a collective experience. In this session we talk about what advocacy is, the different types of advocacy, how to get motivated to advocate and why those in our services need our advocacy on all levels. From there we will have some advocacy tips, websites and tools for folks to take with them.
