Ableism 201

In this session we will talk more in-depth about the impacts of ableism and what the outcomes are when ableism is not addressed in our services. Advocates will lead a discussion on how assumptions become reality, how to address it in your work culture, and what changes we want to see from our supports and services. We are hoping to provide a toolkit and some resources like videos, books, websites so case managers have something they can take with them to do their work and have more inclusive collaboration with those receiving services.
