Registration

We are trying to balance our deep enthusiasm for an in-person gathering (where conversations can continue and connections can be made beyond the formal sessions) with the desire to make the conference as inclusive and accessible as possible, as well as to respect ethical commitments to reduce the carbon footprint of air travel. We must also—as feminists so often must—balance our grand vision with our very finite budget.

We have sought to achieve that balance by offering the following two registration options:

In-Person: In person registration will include the opportunity to participate in the full conference program, including the official opening of the UO Library Special Collections Hypatia (Physical & Digital) Archive, several evening receptions, breakfast coffee and pastries, and afternoon coffee breaks. Low-cost on-campus housing is also available.

Remote: Remote attendees will receive the chance to view (professionally produced) livestreams of all six of our plenary panels at a reduced registration rate (and will be given access to recordings of those plenary panels after the conference). Remote presenters will be able to present during their individual concurrent session through the (very amateur) means of Zoom, a laptop, and a classroom projector. Zoom participation in concurrent sessions is available only to presenters, not to other remote registrants.

Registration is FREE for members of the UO community.
