Hypatia's Promise: Opening the Archives, Charting Feminist Futures
The first issue of Hypatia: A Journal of Feminist Philosophy was published in 1983 as one of four special Hypatia issues of Women's Studies International Forum over the next three years. Next fall, feminist philosophers and scholars from all disciplines will gather in Eugene, Oregon to celebrate the journal's 40th anniversary.
