KEYNOTE: Disability Justice

Disability Justice promotes a holistic and inclusive approach, recognizing the intersecting identities and diverse needs of disabled people. It strives for a society that values and supports all people's full participation and autonomy regardless of their disabilities. We will also discuss how people with I/DD are often not a part of groups where decisions are made and why this is detrimental to society. We will address what Disability Justice is and why it is crucial to your work and personal life because it ensures equal and equitable access and opportunities for disabled people. It also challenges systemic barriers, injustices, and discrimination against disabled people.
