I/DD Case Management Conference Accessibility Information

Mobility and ASL Support

We will have mobility and ASL support available during the conference. Before the event, please contact the U of O conference registration staff at:

I/DD Case Management Conference 2023 Registration Office
(800)280-6218 or (541)346-3537
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm PT
cmconfregister@uoregon.edu.

They will be taking accessibility accommodation requests and answering accessibility questions.

Getting Around the Conference Area

Please note, there are outdoor walkways between the buildings we are using, EMU and Straub are next to each other, but you will need to go outside to go from one building to another. Lunch, served at Unthank Hall, is a short (approximately 5 minutes) wheelchair accessible walk from the EMU and Straub Hall.

Visitor ADA Parking

Visitors displaying a DMV issued Disabled Person Parking placard are eligible to park in marked ADA spaces by obtaining a University of Oregon Visitor Parking Permit from the parking portal.

You may also use the convenient ParkMobile app (link below) to purchase a 'virtual permit' which allows you to park in an ADA space without needing to purchase a permit from Transportation Services.

Lunch Time Shuttle for People with Mobility Support Needs

There is shuttle service available for people with mobility support needs to reach Unthank Hall for lunch. Otherwise, this will be about a 5 minute wheelchair accessible walk.

The pick-up location is at the University St. bus stop by Erb, to the back door of Unthank Hall. The shuttle will be running back and forth during lunch time.

Lactation Room

We will have a designated room in the UO Women’s Center for anyone who needs a lactation space. Just ask a conference volunteer (wearing a yellow lanyard) and they will help you access the code to use the space.

Questions During the Conference?

There will be multiple volunteers located throughout the conference area. They will be wearing yellow lanyards with a badge that says “Volunteer Ask Me”. They will be happy to answer your questions!

We’re so glad you’re here!
