Sy’s Pizza sits in its original location since it was founded in 1978. Sy Zeer came from New York over 40 years ago to start the local business and introduce single slice pizza to Eugene.

Prince Puckler's Ice Cream is a locally and family owned business that has been in Eugene, Oregon since 1975. When Jim and Lolly Robertson opened their first store in downtown Eugene it was a time when many young entrepreneurs were coming onto the scene. The ice cream is still made at a small warehouse in the Whitaker Area mostly by Jim & Lolly's daughter, Laura.
Just a hammer-throw away from the University of Oregon, this place has been a neighborhood fixture for more than a quarter-century (and counting!) and is right in step with the university’s laid-back feel. Students, regulars, families and folks just passing through all frequent our pub at E. 19th and Agate.

Rennie’s is another campus staple. What more could you ask for, good food, drinks, and friendly folks. At Rennie’s you can play pool, sing your heart at Monday karaoke, try your luck at trivia on Tuesday, and get lucky at bingo on Wednesday.

The beer garden is a win. Good variety of food choices such as Lani Moku Grill, Moi Poki, Once Famous Grill. And Pizza Alta. Eugene’s famous chocolate maker Euphoria offers ooey gooey sweets. There are drink options for all ages including a Coffeegarden for the coffee connoisseur. My favorite thing about the beer garden is it is attached to one of Eugene’s premier garden centers, Gray’s Garden Center. You will find health plants and fun garden art along with many other unique items.

A National Historic Cemetery City of Eugene landmark, the Eugene Pioneer Cemetery was established in 1872 by the
Spencer Butte Lodge No. 9 International Order of Oddfellows. It was originally known as the I.O.O.F.
Cemetery. The original cemetery was 10 acres with 6 acres added in 1907. There are over 767 lots on
the 16 acres with about 4,000 burials. It is an historical repository of stories of the lives of early
pioneers who chose this as the final resting places for themselves and their families. Towering Douglas
Fir trees, old roses, lavender, and white lilac bushes shade their graves. The Eugene Pioneer Cemetery is
The Crown Jewel of the surrounding area.

A world-class track and field facility giving athletes—including the UO’s outstanding student-athletes—an unparalleled stage, while giving fans a theater for track, with comfortable seats, in-stadium amenities, amazing sight lines and intimacy to competition.
Ridgeline trails
The largest trail system is Ridgeline. There are many entry points and several hikes that can be out and back or connected to make a longer hike. Spencer butte is part of the ridgeline trails and has the highest elevation gain at 755 Ft. Some popular trailheads are:
Dillard / Fox hollow – Trailhead on both ends
Blanton Ridge
Mount Baldy
Delta Ponds
The Delta Ponds hike provides one of the best ways to view the wetlands and have a read of the interpretive signs that line the bank. It is mostly shaded and features raised walkways and bridges that crisscross the wetlands.
