Employment Services 101


Employment Services 101 is an introduction to ODDS funded employment services and the agencies that we partner with to assist I/DD eligible individuals seek Competitive Integrated Employment. This session will be useful for newer SC/PA, those needing a refresher or update on employment services, or those that may have questions regarding how employment services are best included in the ISP.

Nathan Deeks

Regional Employment Specialist

ODDS

Nathan Deeks is a Regional Employment Specialist with the ODDS Employment Team, serving Multnomah, Washington, Columbia and Clatsop Counties. In over 20 years in the field of I/DD services, he has also worked with the ODDS Policy Team and in various positions with Metro area Brokerage services.

Regional Employment Specialist

ODDS

Erica Drake holds a master’s degree in special education from Portland State University. Currently she works for The Office of Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS) as a Regional Employment Specialist. Prior to going to ODDS, she worked as a Diversion Specialist and Services Coordinator for Deschutes County and prior to that Disabilities Inclusion Specialist for Head Start. She is passionate about community employment and enjoys her current job providing technical assistance and trainings to the field.
