Trauma Informed Care in Action
Trauma Informed Care (TIC) is a strengths based approach grounded in understanding the impact of trauma on the work we do. It helps us engage with our work in a nonjudgmental, safe, and collaborative way. This interactive workshop builds on the foundations of trauma informed care training and provides a structured space for us to collaborate and brainstorm ways to strengthen our trauma informed approach with planning facilitation, choice advising, risk conversations and more. Participants will leave with a variety of resources and tools to support them with strengthening their trauma informed approach.
