Community Safety Tips


This session is appropriate for all staff who make routine home visits or visits to other locations within the community. This will be an interactive session where participants will discuss and provide suggestions to prepare for travel and home visits through the lens of safety. Hannah Bowen

Quality Assurance Trainer

ODDS - Assessment Unit

Hannah Bowen is a Quality Assurance Trainer (QAT) with the ODDS Assessment Unit. Hannah has been supporting individuals with I/DD since 2001 and has worked as a research associate in Oregon UCEDD, with disability rights organizations promoting access to voting for people with I/DD across the country, and as an advisor to the local and national self-advocacy movement.

Toi Gibson has worked in the IDD field for 29 years with people who have behaviors needing support. She is proud to have served as a Direct Support Person, Services Coordinator, Regional Placement Specialist, Behavior Professional, and OIS Instructor. Toi currently supervises ONA Assessors and Services Coordinators.

Program Specialist

Multnomah County

Amanda Pearce is a Program Specialist with Multnomah County CDDP. Amanda has been supporting individuals with I/DD since 2003 and has worked as a Job Coach, Employment Specialist, Service Coordinator, Foster Home Licensor and Program Specialist. Amanda’s goal is to make learning accessible by meeting individuals where they are at and making information meaningful.

Patrick Rosario

Case Management/Forensic Liaison

ODDS

Patrick Rosario is a Case Management Liaison for the Office of Developmental Disabilities Services. Patrick also serves as the Forensic Liaison for ODDS. Patrick started his career in DD services 10 years ago. In those 10 years, Patrick has worked as a DSP, Program Manager, and a Personal Agent before going to work for ODDS.
