Travel & Tourist Information

Eugene Airport

If you are planning to attend the conference without additional travel in the area, we recommend you fly in and out of the Eugene Airport (EUG). From there, you can use ground transportation, rideshare or rental car to take the 25 minute trip to campus.

Portland Airport

If your plans include extended stay in Portland, the Oregon Coast or the Willamette Valley, we recommend you fly in and out of Portland International Airport (PDX). The drive from PDX to the University of Oregon is a little over 2 hours.

Car rental will be the easiest option from PDX, and the rental center is directly adjacent to the airport.

FLIX Bus operates out of Union Station downtown Portland to Jaqua Academic Center on the UO Campus, which is a 5-minute walk to the residence halls or Hayward Inn.

Amtrak operates buses out of Union Station downtown Portland to Jaqua Academic Center.

Transportation from PDX to Union Station is available by taxi, rideshare (30 min) or light rail 45 min).

If you are interested in sharing a ride with another member from the Portland Airport, please add your information to the Google Doc found at this LINK
