Dean has more than 20 years of experience in education – both in the classroom, an academic coach and as an administrator. He has a diverse background with expertise in curriculum writing, professional development, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, assessment and much more. Dean is currently the Director of Secondary Curriculum, Instruction and Systems in the Bend-LaPine School District. When Dean is not traveling Oregon by bike, boots, or boats, he shares his specialties in high quality instruction and assessment through the lens of a classroom teacher and instructional coach.
