All room reservations require a credit card to process your reservation. Your credit card is required as a guarantee and will be charged in advance of your arrival. (Be sure to read the cancellation policy). Should you wish to pay by check, please contact the reservation office to make arrangements.
Reservations made online will receive confirmations via e-mail if a valid e-mail address has been provided. If no e-mail has been provided, or if e-mail sent to you is returned undeliverable, you will receive a confirmation via fax or regular mail within 7-10 business days.
All changes to your reservation must be made by July 14, 2014. Reservations are non-transferable, and you will be asked to show a picture ID upon arrival. Date changes will be made on a space available basis, via e-mail, fax, or phone:

More information to follow in regards to parking. Parking permits will be available for purchase at Barnhart Hall at the time of check-in. Parking permits are $10 per day per vehicle. Access to parking will be limited.
Check in will be handled at the Barnhart Hall Service Center, on Patterson Blvd. There will be signs and arrows for the Barnhart Hall Service Center. Check in will be available 8am - 8pm July 25-28, 2014. Guests will be required to show ID and provide credit card upon check-in. For those driving, there will be a temporary drop off area for unloading and check-in until you receive further parking information and assistance at the Service Center.
You'll be staying at Barnhart Hall. Rooms are modest and standard hotel amenities like room service, air conditioning, and daily maid service are NOT available. Each room has two twin-sized beds, desks with chairs, and closets. While the rooms are not air-conditioned, summer nights in Eugene are typically comfortable. You are welcome to bring a small portable fan. Rooms are provided with sheets, blankets, pillows and towels. Beds are made upon arrival. Daily towel service is provided. Remember to bring your own toiletries. Sleeping bags are not allowed per fire regulations. Alcohol, smoking, open flames or pets are not permitted in the resident halls.
All changes to your reservations and housing cancellations must be made by July 14, 2014. All cancellations must be submitted in writing; send an e-mail to or fax to 1.541.346.3545. Cancellations will be subject to a $35 service fee. After the cancellation deadline of July 14, 2014, no refunds will be granted for cancelled reservations.
Questions about staying on the University of Oregon campus?
How are the rooms set up? How many people can stay in each room?
University Housing residence halls are three- and four-story buildings located on the east side of campus. Each room has two twin-sized beds, desks with chairs, and closets. We do not offer air-conditioned rooms, but summer nights in Eugene are typically comfortable. Each floor, accessible by stairwell and/or elevators, has private restrooms and showers. If you have a special accessibility need, please let us know. All rooms are double occupancy; Sleeping bags are not allowed per fire regulations. Alcohol, smoking, open flames or pets are not permitted in the resident halls.
Are the rooms air-conditioned?
The rooms are not air-conditioned. Portable air conditioning units are not allowed within the residence halls, but guests are welcome to bring a small portable fan.
Are the bathrooms connected to the room, or down the hall?
All of the rooms in Barnhart Hall have private restrooms and showers. Daily towel service is provided, but please remember to bring your own toiletries.
Are bed and bath linens provided?

How much does it cost?
Room rate per night for a double occupancy residence hall room is $154 and room rate for a single occupancy residence hall room is $90. A minimum of 2 consecutive nights per reservation is required.
What time is check out?
Check out is expected by Noon on the day of your departure. If you plan to check out Sunday, July 27, 2014 you can do so by 8pm that evening.
How do meals work? Can I have a guest join me for a meal?
Rooms include a continental breakfast and each guest will be given a meal card that allows access to the dining facilities at Barnhart Hall. The meal plan provides access to breakfast daily. There is no refund for missed meals and the card is non-transferable. Guests may purchase additional individual meals on the main campus with cash or debit/credit cards. Price for meals are as follows: Breakfast- $8.25; Lunch- $8.75; Dinner- $10.50.
Is there internet access in the residence halls?
The University of Oregon does not provide guest internet access. There will not be internet available at the Barnhart Hall.
Are there laundry machines?
The Barnhart Hall has card operated laundry facilities, available for use by guests. You can purchase a laundry card at the Barnhart Hall Service Center.
