Multimodality redefines public transport

This session will feature experienced voices from frontrunner organisations engaged in advancing sustainable mobility locally as well as worldwide within the International Association of Public Transport (UITP). The narratives will be coming from the speakers, anchored in their own experience within organisations that have been changing to act on new technologies, business models, service design and partnerships and, more broadly, to develop multimodality for more sustainable and liveable cities and regions. Lights and shadows of the combination of shared and (autonomous) on-demand mobility with public transport networks, will compose the main harmony of this session.

Vincent Neumayer, Wiener Linien Vincent Neumayer holds both degrees in natural resource management and urban & regional planning. Since 2017, Vincent has been enhancing Vienna’s transport system as a mobility planning expert and project manager for Wiener Linien (Vienna Public Transport) after accumulating five years of experience in international consulting for spatial, transport, and mobility planning: currently he develops and employs innovative, multimodal products and services f.i. mobility points in public space and sharing schemes and works on strategies for Wiener Linien towards becoming a MaaS-integrator on local, regional and European level.
