Mobility Data Exchanges: Moving from Buy-In to Implementation
The explosion of shared mobility and urban delivery across the globe signaled a paradigm shift in how people and goods move, cities manage public space, and the mobility experience becoming increasingly digitalised. Numerous data specifications and exchanges (like CDS-M, MDS and CDS) unlocked cities' ability to securely, efficiently, and legally communicate data and policy direction between government and mobility providers. However, these innovations require regulatory and political buy-in to ensure widespread adoption and expanded implementation. At this workshop, learn about the future of mobility data/adoption opportunities, and co-create strategies to advance regulations at the European Commission.

Andrew Glass Hastings, Open Mobility Foundation Having served two Seattle mayors, managed local and regional transportation funding campaigns, led one of the most innovative city DOT teams and advised cities around the globe, Andrew Glass Hastings has extensive experience working at the intersection of the public and private sectors. As the Open Mobility Foundation’s Executive Director Andrew leads this unique public/private partnership where cities and companies collaborate in real-time to co-create the open-source data standards and software tools cities need to digitize their infrastructure and manage all forms of mobility on their streets, leading to more equitable and sustainable urban communities. |

Alexander Pazuchanics, Vianova Alexander Pazuchanics is Vianova’s Head of Mobility Intelligence, where he works with cities around the world on transforming data into actionable insights. He is the Former Mobility Solutions Manager for the City of Seattle. Before that, he worked as Assistant Director for Policy, Planning, and Permitting at the City of Pittsburgh’s Department of Mobility and Infrastructure. He is the author of Pittsburgh’s Smart City Vision: “SmartPGH”. |

Gemma Schepers, City of Amsterdam Gemma Schepers serves as a Smart Mobility Project Manager for the Innovation Office (CTO) of the City of Amsterdam. She is committed to the digital transition in the field of Smart Mobility with a strong focus on cyber security and secure data exchange between all stakeholders in the Smart Mobility eco-system. An expert in mobility data exchanges, Gemma is also serving as a board member to the Open Mobility Foundation and the Chair for the EuroCities Digital and Automated Mobility Working Group. |

Tu-Tho Thai, BNTRA - GT7 Tu-Tho leads and contributes to the French standardisation group for traveller information and mobility services, while working on extending and nurturing the Transmodel ecosystem. Leveraging her mobility data expertise and her past life as an expatriate in Southeast Asia, she actively contributes to implementing interoperability for all by building bridges, finding consensus, and creating convergence between different sectors of the mobility industry, their specifications, and standards. With a double master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Business Development, she is passionate about making the world a better place to live by leaning on new technologies and community inclusion. |
