Using water blocks to unlock urban imaginaries: AR and placemaking

The workshop is based on a prototype developed by Imagination of Things, a creative studio focused on play for impact, in collaboration with The Place Bureau, a strategic placemaking studio. We'll explore place futures, utilize AR as a digital method to foster placemaking, and encourage urban imagination for areas defined by their relationship with water. The workshop aims to showcase a play mindset and AR as part of a toolset to prototype interactive, participatory components of urban design endeavors. This can be particularly meaningful for projects with spatial awareness, turning users into participants, and play into insights.
