Moving forward with MDS 2.0

Location: Oregon Convention Center - C-125/6

Since 2018, cities have benefited from the Mobility Data Specification which has enabled them to better manage micromobility to align with policy goals around safety, climate, and equity. But scooters and bikeshare services are only a small slice of the privately operated services in any given city. MDS 2.0, slated for release in early 2023, empowers cities to manage shared services beyond micromobility, including taxis, rideshare, car share, and even delivery robots. This expansion will help cities serve as mobility managers, empowering policymakers to achieve critical goals including equitable mobility access, improved air quality, and economic prosperity for residents.

CE Credits for APA, AIA, and ASLA, should be available for many sessions and workshops. More information on this will be available shortly.
