Growing a Growth Mindset: Cultivating Strategies that Sprout the Mindset!

How do your students react to making a mistake? How do they feel when they get something wrong? What do they do next? We will explore strategies to implement in your classroom to expand student’s understanding and enjoyment of struggle. As the research and importance of a growth mindset continues to evolve, we endeavor to discover what this looks like in today’s classrooms. With ideas from Jo Boaler’s Math-ish, teachers will leave with actionable strategies to value mistakes, give feedback, and engage students in productive struggle.
