Utilize Asynchronous Math Talks to support pre-service teachers’ learning.
In this presentation, I will share how I developed and used the Asynchronous Math Talks routine to support pre-service teachers’ learning of mathematics. I will share the key structures of the routine and what I found from analyzing pre-service teachers’ responses. Attendees will discuss how they would adapt Asynchronous Math Talks in their classrooms and/or professional development.
