I've been teaching in Hillsboro School District for 21 years all at the same school, Reedville Elementary. I've taught 2nd-6th with blends mixed in during certain years. I've been an instructional math coach for the last 8 years for Prek-6th at Reedville Elementary. I have a BA in early childhood/elementary education through Western Oregon University, a masters in Curriculum & Instruction and working on my Math Specialization through Portland State University. I love working with both adults and students and have had incredible opportunities learning from amazing mathematicians. I hope to pass on my passion for math!

Mandy Wedel

K-8 Math & STEM TOSA

Mandy Wedel has been an educator for 21 years. She spent the majority of her teaching career in 6th grade in an elementary school setting. Eventually she moved into the role of instructional math coach in a K-6 building, which was classified as Title I and Dual-Language. Her current role is K-8 Math and STEM TOSA for the Hillsboro School District. Mandy supports building administrators, instructional coaches, department heads, and teacher leaders in all elementary and middle schools in implementing best practices in math and science instruction in order to give all students access to rigorous content.
