Envisioning Anti-Bias Mathematics Education in Your Own Math Classroom

,
Holiday Inn Portland, Grand Ballroom Salon 4, Lobby level

The presenters, as a group of participating teachers and educators, will lead a discussion about what anti-bias mathematics could potentially look like. The goal of this workshop is for teachers to reflect on their students' experiences in their current classroom and in an imagined anti-bias mathematics classroom, examine the differences, and develop some ideas on how to modify their own classroom towards an anti-bias math classroom.
