In this workshop, we will explore teaching math for social justice (TMSJ) in middle school grades. We will explore a TMSJ lesson template, connect to math and social justice standards, and will actively engage in a math lesson to explore, understand, and respond to social injustice and reflect on the possibilities and tensions of TMSJ.
