NBCT Mathematics-Early Adolescence

Inglewood Middle School

Mathematics is the language of the universe and in learning this language we open ourselves up to a better understanding of how things exist and work. In 2005 I began my teaching career at Inglewood Middle School with a Developmental Psychology degree and a desire to see how mathematics could help people to understand their place in the world and contributions towards the greater community. Working with UW Physics Education Group and the Washington Alliance of Better Schools I developed this work that will help introduce students to Geometry in a new way and help to see the grand story.
