Melissa Cleaver

Instructional Technology Trainer

Omaha Public Schools

Melissa Cleaver has been an educator for over 20 years in both elementary & secondary settings. She currently is an Instructional Technology coordinator in Omaha Public Schools. She was awarded Nebraska Elementary Art Educator of the Year in 2010. After receiving her Masters in School Administration she served as a CADRE Associate and adjunct instructor at University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Education while continuing to work in the classroom. She also serves as the Nebraska Art Teacher Association co-president. She is galvanized to elevate educators engagement of the Five Cs: collaboration, communication, critical thinking, creativity and digital citizenship.
