Mrs. Michelle Truett

Levitt AMP Utica Coordinator

Utica Monday Nite

Michelle Truett is an Upstate NY-based graphic design and marketing professional. She is a native of New Jersey and a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology. She moved to Utica, NY in 1998 and started her business in 2002 doing design, branding and marketing work for many local companies, start ups, non-profits and social enterprises. She has worked extensively on neighborhood branding initiatives with Rust2 Green Utica in the city’s Bagg’s Square, Downtown and Brewery Districts. She presented a TEDx Utica talk in September, 2015 titled “Microbranding Utica Mile by Mile”. Michelle has been involved in the Levitt AMP Utica Music Series for the past three years, acting as coordinator for the past two. The concerts have re-energizing the Oneida Square Arts District in the city through the power of free, live music. The United Nations has coined Utica “The Town that Loves Refugees”. In a city where just over 17% of the population is foreign born, the series has helped bring the universal language of music to an underutilized park where everyone is welcome. Michelle is also a longtime instructor for the Young Entrepreneurs Academy, is on a handful of boards and committees for great organizations and worthy causes and is an avid runner and snowboarder.
