Martha has been a leader in the transportation movement for more than two decades. She put protected bike lanes into the U.S. design toolbox through the Green Lane Project at PeopleForBikes. She launched bike share and open streets programs at the City of Boulder. She has been called the "godmother of the Complete Streets movement" and ran the campaign to create the federal Safe Routes to School program. She is now doing what she loves most: crafting mobility strategies and projects for cities, organizations and philanthropy.
