Director, Trail Development
Kelly Pack is the Director of Trail Development for Rails-to-Trails Conservancy (RTC). For more than a decade, Kelly has worked with local watershed organizations, trail and greenway planning initiatives, pedestrian and bicycle advocacy groups, and a regional brownfield redevelopment program to help create sustainable, healthy communities. Since 2006, Kelly has been behind some of RTC's most innovative work, including promoting urban rail-trails as critical public health amenities through RTC's Urban Pathways Initiative and leading RTC's national study on rails-with-trails (2013). She also served as a citizen representative for D.C.’s Recreational Trails Committee and enjoys using and supporting trails in the D.C. area and in her home state of West Virginia. She holds an M.S. in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Resources from West Virginia University.
