Active Communities Coordinator

Jen Walker is the Active Communities Coordinator for healthTIDE, Wisconsin's statewide partner network working to make physical activity and healthy eating accessible, easy and fun. She serves as a connector, convener and facilitator, allowing state and local stakeholders to identify and advance shared interests in creating healthier communities. Before that, she served as a technical assistance provider and coach for grant initiatives in Wisconsin and North Carolina that supported local coalitions in creating policy and environmental change around active living and healthy eating. She walks her two kids to school, and rides an electric bike to work in Madison, WI. Jen holds dual masters' degrees in public health and city and regional planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a BA from Lawrence University of Wisconsin.
