Jake Gordon is the CEO of Downtown Vision, Inc, a non-profit dedicated to making Downtown Jacksonville, Florida a better place. Jake relocated to Jacksonville in 2015 from Camden, N.J. In Camden, he was vice president at Cooper’s Ferry Partnership (CFP), Camden’s citywide economic development corporation, as well as served as executive director of the Camden Special Services District (CSSD), Camden’s business improvement district. For Cooper’s Ferry, Jake managed numerous revitalization projects in Camden’s downtown, waterfront and neighborhoods, including streetscape improvements, park restoration, placemaking initiatives and implementation of the TIGER-funded Camden GreenWay, a network of bike trails connecting with Philadelphia's The Circuit (now joined!) Prior to moving to Camden in 2007, Jake worked for three years as an associate attorney for O'Melveny & Myers LLP in Los Angeles, guiding major clients through large-scale litigation. He received his J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2003 and his bachelor's of arts from University of California, San Diego in 1999.
