Jonathan Winslow, AIA, LEED AP ND is an architect at VIA Architecture in Seattle focusing on urban mixed use, affordable housing and transit-oriented development projects. Jonathan has an urban design and placemaking-oriented approach to architecture and places a strong emphasis on the pedestrian/urban realm and ground floor activation. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and later received a certificate in Real Estate Development from the Center for Real Estate at Portland State University. Prior to Seattle, Jonathan resided in Portland where he co-founded Better Block Portland, a grassroots organization showcasing the possibilities of low-cost, quick, community-driven transformations of excess street space into inviting urban public place as well as served on the Portland Pedestrian Advisory Committee.
