Stacey worked a community health nurse for 10 years before her interest in healthy public spaces lead her to transition into the field of planning and engagement. She passionate about the intersection of identity and determinants of health within the urban environment. Stacey is the co-founder of Good Night Out Vancouver, a non-profit organization that works with the nightlife economy in Vancouver to prevent and respond to issues pertaining to women's safety, particularly sexual harassment and assault. She was a nominated for a Government of BC Community Safety and Crime Prevention Award in 2015 for her work in the area of women’s safety in the public spaces of Vancouver.
