FAQ's About Registration and Cancellation

How do I register for a seminar?

Registration is available: online, by phone, fax, or mail. Seminars fill up quickly so advance registration is recommended to secure a spot. If space is available, you may also register onsite. Please call to confirm.

What payment methods do you accept for a seminar?

The UO Continuing Education will accept Visa, MasterCard, Company Purchase Order, Check (space not confirmed until check is received). Make checks payable to University of Oregon. If you have payment questions or need to make special payment arrangements, contact the Registration Coordinator by e-mail us at ctrinfo@uoregon.edu or call (800) 824-2714 or (541) 346-4231.

What if I need to drop or cancel the seminar?

If you need to cancel a seminar, please call three full working days in advance of the seminar to receive a refund.

Will I receive a registration confirmation?

If you register online, phone, fax, or mail, you should receive an automatic e-mail confirmation if you provide and e-mail address. If you do not have an e-mail address or request a hard copy confirmation, it will be mailed as time permits.

What is a CEU? Do I need it?

A CEU is documentation of a Continuing Education Unit. Some professional organizations require that members complete a certain number of continuing education experiences within a particular time period, and the CEU receipt is verification of that work.
