Cooperative Educational PartnershipsThe mission and academic assets of the University can be combined with the interests of external organizations through a variety of cooperative educational partnerships. The Division of Continuing Education can facilitate these partnerships by utilizing a number of services and physical resources. Continuing Education is able to recognize certain learning activities by documenting them into verifiable units. For working professionals appropriate experiences can be verified as Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and for educators, appropriate experiences can be verified as Professional Development Units (PDUs). Some appropriate experiences can also be recognized for academic credit. Academic credit is documented by a University of Oregon transcript. To create access to additional learning experiences, Continuing Education can host other educational providers. Continuing Education also provides outreach and registration services in support of sponsored research projects. When providing on-campus support for educational activities, Continuing Education offers meeting facilities, including flexible classrooms and videoconference equipment. And if you would like to have an event delivered on site at your facility and created around specific needs, please see our Customized and Corporate Training information. Please contact us if you have an interest in developing a cooperative educational partnership. |
