UO Portland Center

The University of Oregon in Portland serves the educational, professional development, and personal enrichment needs in the local community. The history building, located at 722 SW 2nd Avenue, is home to the UO Duck Shop, several program offices, and classrooms.

Driving and Light Rail Directions

• From Sunset (I-26) take the Market Street Exit (center lane, continue for several blocks). Get in left lane. Turn left on 2nd Avenue. Travel nine blocks to UO Portland Center.
• From I-5 going South take the City Center Exit (across Morrison Bridge). Get in far left lane. Turn left on 3rd Avenue. (Both left and center lanes can turn left at this corner.) Travel three blocks to UO Portland Center. Right turn not allowed on 3rd Avenue and Yamhill (street blocked for MAX Light Rail).
• MAX going West toward Beaverton get off at the stop in front of Rock Bottom Brewery (stop is on Morrison between 2nd and 3rd Avenue). Walk South on 2nd Avenue toward Yamhill.
• MAX going East toward Gresham get off at the UO Portland Center stop (stop is on Yamhill between 1st and 2nd Avenue).

TriMet Bus Service

TriMet buses serve Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington counties. Many bus lines connect with MAX Light Rail, and 16 lines provide frequent service (every 15 minutes).

• $2 for each half hour, with a daily maximum of $8.25.
• Nearest location: 711 SW 1st St. (block bordered by Morrison, Yamhill, 1st and 2nd, mid-block entrances from 1st)

  • $1.25/hour (four hours or less)
  • More than four hours $3.00/hour up to the daily maximum of $12 (daily maximum varies depending on location).

• On Street Parking
  • $1.25 per hour. You do not have to pay for on street parking after 7:00 p.m. Some of the meters in the area are the new type that takes debit and credit cards as well as cash.
