Workshop Speakers

  • The one-day workshops are usually held on Fridays, about once a month, from September to June.
  • The two-day Foundations session is usually on a Thursday and Friday, in the fall.
  • Sessions are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Refreshments are available during the morning and afternoon breaks. Lunch is on your own, but you are welcome to bring your lunch into the meeting area.
  • Most workshops for September 2007-June 2008 will be at the UO Portland Center.

Fees

Workshop Registration Rates

  • One-day sessions have a Full Rate of $209 and an Earlybird Rate of $169.
  • The two-day Foundations session has a Full Rate of $325 and an Earlybird Rate of $280.

Other Fee Information

  • At present, we do not have scholarships available. We will forward any opportunities for scholarships should we become aware of them.
  • Special team rates may be available for three or more employees from one organization.
  • There is a 10% discount when registering for 3 or more workshops.
  • Selected workshops may offer a discount to members of particular professional organizations.
  • Individual workshops may be taken for UO credit. This 1-credit option has an additional tuition of $65 and additional coursework is required. (Academic credit is not required to complete the Certificate Program.)
  • Federal financial aid is not available for this program because non-credit and part-time educational activities are not eligible.
  • You may be able to take a tax deduction under the Hope Scholarship.
