Do I need to bring anything to the workshops?

We will provide you with a notebook for gathering handouts and taking notes. You only need bring something to write with.

Are there additional fees for materials or books?

No, the registration fee covers all of the workshop materials. However, depending on the location you may have expenses based on your mode of travel, such as parking in the Portland area.

Is lunch provided at the workshop?

Complimentary refreshments are included with the morning and afternoon breaks. Lunch is on your own. You are welcome to bring your own food into the refreshment area during the lunch break.

What are the meeting and break times?

Most workshops begin at 9:00 a.m. and finish at 4:00 p.m. The lunch and break times may vary based on the presenter. Also, start and end times may vary at workshops held in conjunction with conferences. These are specified in the workshop description and confirmation of your registration.

How do I know the location for my workshop?

The location is specified in the workshop description, and detailed directions are included with the confirmation of your registration.

Do I need to sign up for the “credit option” on a workshop?

You do not need the credit option for obtaining the Certificate of Completion. The credit option is generally utilized by participants needing elective credits toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
