FAQ's About Fees

I need to prepare a budget for the cost of doing the Certificate of Completion. What will my total costs be?

The total cost will vary based on your status with UO and how you schedule your coursework. Cost can be kept to a minimum by taking advantage of earlybird workshop rates.

  • For most participants, the total cost will be around $2,100.
  • Full-time students can incorporate the applied/practicum work into regular credit tuition, leaving an additional expense of about $1,200 in non-credit workshop fees.
  • Employees at UO (0.5 FTE and above) are eligible for staff rates on the credit registration for applied/practicum, at the current staff fees. This leaves an additional expense of about $1,200 in non-credit workshop fees.

Note: Fees and schedules are subject to change. These dollar figures should be considered as guidelines only.

Is financial aid available?

Non-credit workshops and part-time credit registrations are not eligible for Federal financial aid. If you enroll in credit sections as electives to full-time student enrollment, credit sections may be eligible under existing financial aid packages.

Are there scholarships?

No, we do not currently have scholarships. We will forward any opportunities for scholarships should we become aware of them.

Do you offer special rates, group or other discounts?

We offer an earlybird discount if you register before the deadline. Special team rates may be available for three or more employees from one organization. Also, some workshops offer a discount to members of particular professional organizations. If you have specific questions, please call the registration office at (800) 824-2714 or e-mail us at ctrinfo@uoregon.edu.
