What is the difference between Community Education and Continuing Education?

The Community Education Program (CEP) provides a way to take regular UO classes without being formally admitted. Simply put, it is a non-admitted student status. In contrast, the division of Continuing Education provides a variety of credit and non-credit programs for professional development and lifelong learning.

Who is eligible to take Continuing Education classes?

Our non-credit classes/workshops are open to everyone. For credit classes see the specific program for eligibility requirements.

Do you offer any discounts on courses?

Currently, the Festival & Event Management, ED2000+ and Sustainability Leadership programs' non-credit workshops offer early bird discounts. Please call the registration office for any other discounts we may be offering.
