Attending the WorkshopsThese professional development workshops emphasize practical classroom applications offered by presenters who have worked extensively in the classroom. Our workshops blend lecture and experiential activities; participants can leave the workshops ready to implement new strategies in their classrooms. Participants receive packets that reinforce and expand upon the workshop content, provide references for further reading and reproducible classroom materials. Undergraduate and Graduate Credit OptionThe credit option will require a combination of elements equaling a thirty-hour contribution for one college credit. A large portion of the graduate or undergraduate course requirements occurs outside the classroom or workshop experience. These elements may include online correspondence with the instructor or other participants, supplemental reading of course text and/or recommended articles, and a significant response paper. Additional projects, requiring practical application of workshop content, are often required. More Information: |
