E-mail Accounts

There are a variety of mail clients available for use, as well as Internet-based mail clients. The University of Oregon has its own Internet-based mail client: Alpha Mail.

If you are new to the university, you can claim your account by visiting http://duckid.uoregon.edu. Enter your UO ID number and PAC in ALL UPPERCASE to log in the first time. The first time you log in, you will be asked to create answers for a set of security questions. Answer carefully. You will be asked to answer these questions exactly as you entered them if you need to reset your password in the future.

If you previously attended the university but have not accessed your UO email account since August of 2007, you may need to speak with the Help Desk at MicroComputer Services to reset your password.
