Blackboard Login

Blackboard is a course management system used by the University of Oregon for all of its courses. Blackboard supports both face-to-face (on campus) and distance education (online) courses, offering certain functions such as:

  • Course Materials (access to read, download or print)
  • Discussion Boards
  • Assignments (receive and submit)
  • Quizzes
  • Monitor Grades

Announcements from Blackboard are sent to your uoregon.edu e-mail account, so it is important to access and check this account frequently. Most course sections become accessible in Blackboard on the first day of the term. If it is the first week of class and you have not received this information or are unable to access your course in Blackboard, contact the Distance Education office at disted@uoregon.edu.

Logging in to Blackboard

The Blackboard login page is located at http://blackboard.uoregon.edu.

Your Blackboard username and password are the same as your University of Oregon e-mail account and e-mail password. However, do not include "@uoregon.edu" when logging into Blackboard. For example, student@uoregon.edu would enter "student" as their username.

If you forget your password, you can reset it here.

Accessing Your Blackboard Course

Once logged in to Blackboard, you will find a listing of course sections you are enrolled in on the right side of the browser window. By clicking on a class link you will be able to enter the course site for the class in question.

Can’t log in to Blackboard?

If you are unable to access Blackboard, it may be due to a login issue or a browser compatibility issue. To check the compatibility of your browser, go to the UO Library’s "Check" page.

If your login does not work, or you encounter any other problems, contact the DE Technical Coordinator at disted@uoregon.edu.
