Frequently Asked Questions

PAC

What do I need in order to register?

You must have active registration eligibility status and a Personal Access Code (PAC) before being able to register for classes. If you have not been actively enrolled within the past four terms, you will need to reactivate your status. If you were regularly admitted to the UO and want to reactivate your status please visit the Office of the Registrar's page on re-enrollment procedures. Community Education Students who are not currently active will need to fill out the online PAC form. This flow chart can assist in keeping track of the steps to take in order to register.

After obtaining a PAC and UO identification number and receiving preauthorization (if necessary), you may then register online through DuckWeb.

How do I request my PAC online?

Community Education Program (CEP) students can request a Personal Access Code (PAC) online for Fall, Winter, and Spring term courses. For summer courses, fill out the Summer Session PAC request form.

How do I request my PAC in person?

For Community Education Program students, requesting a PAC in person is also possible by picking up a CEP PAC form at Oregon Hall, on the Eugene campus. After filling out the form, present it along with photo identification to the Office of the Registrar and receive a PAC immediately.

What if I forgot my PAC?

If you forget or have problems logging in with your PAC, reset it by using the "Forgot PAC?" button on the DuckWeb login page or by contact the Office of the Registrar.
