Frequently Asked QuestionsSelf-support Fee and TuitionWhat is the self-support fee? Some online courses have a self-support fee that replaces regular tuition for that course. This is not an additional fee on top of tuition costs. If a course has a self-support fee, it will be listed in the online Schedule of Classes as well as the Distance Education course listing. How is it different from regular UO tuition? Self-support fees are fixed amounts regardless of residency status, course load, other tuition assessments, major, etc. For more information about tuition, contact the Office of the Registrar. |
