CEP Information

The Community Education Program is a non-degree enrollment program that allows anyone to take credit classes at the University. Because of this status, CEP students do not need to formally apply for admission at the University but still can take most classes offered by the UO!

CEP students are part-time, non-matriculating, and are limited to a maximum of eight credit hours per term.

With CEP you can:

  • Get some extra credits before you start your master’s or bachelor’s program.
  • Explore new subjects.
  • Pick up an interesting hobby.
  • Do some course work that will give you a raise.
  • Kick-start a second career.

To learn more about CEP requirements, eligibility, or how to apply, please visit the CEP website.
