Association of American Universities
The University of Oregon is one of only sixty-two public and private institutions in the U.S. and Canada selected for membership in the exclusive Association of American Universities (AAU).
Schedule and Descriptions
University of Oregon Distance Education classes run on the same term schedule as regular, on-campus courses, and are subject to the same rules and deadlines. Distance Education courses provide the same credit, and appear the same on a transcript, as any other UO course.
Please be aware that multiple terms may be listed at the same time. If you do not initially see the term or course you are searching for, scroll down, (i.e. spring courses may appear after summer ones.)

Some DE courses require preauthorization, and usually appear as needing "Instructor Approval" on DuckWeb. If a class requires preauthorization, it will be noted in its Course Description, and you will not be able to register for the class until you have gone through the preauthorization process. For more information on the process, refer to the preauthorization information page.
Additionally, some classes will require that you take in-person proctored exams during the term. Courses with proctored exams note this information in the Course Descriptions, and more information is available on the Exam Proctoring page.
