Josh SkovJosh Skov co-founded Good Company a sustainable consulting firm. His primary role is supporting clients with the development of sustainability indicators and assessment tools. As a principal, Skov is involved in a wide range of corporate and government client work. He also leads Good Company's higher education practice. Skov combines extensive experience with sustainability indicators and expertise in economics with the ability to communicate issues of sustainability in a practical and meaningful manner. His research and consulting have assisted corporations, universities and public agencies in understanding how the challenge of sustainability relates to their organizations, assessing social and environmental performance, and implementing measures to address these emerging issues. Skov is also an adjunct instructor in the Department of Planning, Public Policy and Management at the University of Oregon. For the past two years, he has taught courses in sustainable business at the Rady School of Management at the University of California, San Diego. He has served on citizen advisory committees of Eugene Water and Electric Board (for electric resource planning) and the Metropolitan Wastewater Management Commission (for the development of systems development charges (SDCs)). Skov is also a founding member of the City of Eugene Sustainability Commission, a city council appointment. |
