Come on down to this workshop if you're interested in starting, joining, or just learning about campaigns run by young people that are building solutions to climate change and sustainability at large.


Workshop B: Creating an Action Plan

This hands-on workshop is designed for students interested in translating new ideas into action. We will take a hypothetical yet typical sustainability idea and show students how to develop a clear action plan to guide the implementation process. Defining the problem, setting measurable objectives, and creating a realistic written work plan will be covered. Students will emerge with basic tools and concepts that will improve their effectiveness as leaders.

Leading with vision is a critical aspect of leadership that will be explored in this workshop. We will focus on how to create and articulate a powerful vision, garner support for the vision, and maintain the vision in times of adversity.
